The Beauty of Limestone in Porcelain

One of our newest collections, Arenite,  captures that feeling in porcelain, drawing inspiration from the natural stones of Italy’s Salento region and translating their character into a versatile collection designed for contemporary spaces. 

Arenite is all about nuance, rather than dramatic veining or high contrast. With soft tonal shifts, delicate markings and a lightly weathered appearance it gives authenticity to the look of natural stone while maintaining the performance and practicality of porcelain. The collection is offered in four warm, neutral colors—Ostuni, Trani, Spalato and Rodi—making it easy to layer into any  interiors ranging from organic modern to Mediterranean and contemporary architecture. 

Arenite also offers plenty of opportunity to play with texture. In addition to the field tile, the collection includes two coordinating mosaics, bullnose, and a distinctive Stilos 24” × 48” dimensional 3D porcelain tile, with fine linear texture that adds depth and shadow without overwhelming a space. It’s a beautiful way to create a feature wall while maintaining the same material story throughout the design. 

Our stocked field tile sizes include 12” × 24”, 24” × 48” and 48” × 48”, along with coordinating 2” × 2” and 1” × 4” stacked mosaics and the Stilos 3D dimensional  option. This range allows designers to carry the same palette from expansive floors and walls into showers, details and architectural features. 

One of Arenite’s greatest strengths, however, is its ability to move beyond the interior. A 24” × 48” R11-rated 9mm finish and 24” × 48” 2cm porcelain paver are available by special order, creating the opportunity for beautiful visual continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. Call you territory manager for lead times.
